Production Process of Lead Plates
2025-03-21

  • Raw Material Preparation

    • Lead Ingot Procurement: Select high-quality lead ingots as raw materials, ensuring their purity and composition meet standards.
  • Melting

    • Heating in the Melting Furnace: Place the lead ingots into the melting furnace and heat them to the melting point of lead (approximately 327.5°C) until fully melted.
    • Removing Impurities: During the melting process, remove impurities and oxides from the molten lead to ensure product purity.
  • Casting

    • Mold Preparation: Prepare casting molds as needed; molds can be flat or of other shapes.
    • Casting: Pour the molten lead into the molds and allow it to cool to form lead plates.
  • Heat Treatment

    • Annealing: Perform annealing treatment on the lead plates to eliminate internal stress and improve their mechanical properties and ductility.
  • Processing

    • Cutting and Trimming: Cut, trim, and surface-treat the lead plates as needed to ensure their dimensions and surface quality meet standards.
    • Surface Treatment: Apply anti-oxidation treatment to the lead plates, which may include coating or electroplating processes.
  • Inspection

    • Quality Testing: Conduct chemical composition analysis, physical performance testing, and surface quality inspection on the lead plates to ensure compliance with relevant standards.
  • Packaging and Storage

    • Packaging: Properly package the qualified lead plates to prevent damage during transportation.
    • Storage: Store the packaged lead plates in a warehouse, preparing them for shipment.
  • Shipping

    • Order Processing: Arrange shipping according to customer requirements to ensure timely delivery.
